What to Bring to Your Appointment
- Proof of identification (photo ID)
- Social Security cards for you, your spouse, and dependents
- An ITIN letter, if applicable
- Proof of foreign status (ITIN), if needed
- Birth dates for everyone on the tax return
- Earnings statements (Form W-2, etc)
- Other tax statements (Forms 1099)
- Health Insurance Exemption Certificate
- A copy of last year's tax returns
- Bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit
- Total paid for daycare provider and the daycare provider's SSN or EIN
- Forms 1095 Health Coverage Statements
- To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign forms
