Mrs. Cora Finger Biggers, (mother of John Thomas Biggers) had previously worked for the Orphanage as matron of the girls, and Reverend Sylvester Paul Biggers (brother of John Thomas Biggers) served as Resident Manager and later as Assistant Superintendent of the Orphanage
